Duncton School pupils meet their MP
Arundel and South Downs MP Nick Herbert met young pupils from Duncton CE Junior School when they visited Parliament on Wednesday 24 June.
The Year 6 pupils enjoyed a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament to learn about the history of the buildings. Their tour began in the oldest part of the building, Westminster Hall, and continued through to many of the famous rooms on the estate. Throughout their visit they learned about Parliament, its history and its people which was brought to life through the art and statues they saw.
Mr Herbert joined the pupils after the tour in nearby St James Park where he took questions from the pupils.
Nick Herbert said: “I enjoy meeting pupils from schools in my constituency, and I hope that the Duncton School children found their visit interesting and useful."
