MP receives honour at Buckingham Palace
Arundel & South Downs MP Nick Herbert was presented with the CBE (Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) by the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace on Friday (27 January).
Mr Herbert was awarded the honour for political and public service in David Cameron’s resignation honours list last summer. The announcement referred to his role as a former Minister and as Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Global TB and the All Party Parliamentary Group on LGBT Rights.
Nick Herbert said: “It was an incredibly exciting day, a huge honour and one of the proudest days of my life”.
